She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Corrine, Fred Massey, Anna Jean and Herburt Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Chan Brown; her children, Paxton, Carter and Chandler; her parents, Jeannie Massey and Dr. Mitch Massey; her brothers, Cooper Massey (Kathy), Adam Massey (Mary Frances) and Jon Massey (Cameron); her aunt Barbara Badham (Glenn); her parents-in-law, Susan and Tommy Brown; her siblings-in-law, Chad Brown (Mika) and Chrysler Carter (Chance); and her godchildren, Bo Blossom, Palmer LaMoreaux and Nina Brauch. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 1379 Coley Rd, Tupelo, MS 38801. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House in Marty's memory or with a memorial to a scholarship, in Marty's name, with Junior Auxiliary of Lee County. The checks should be sent to: Create Foundation P.O. Box 1053 Tupelo, Mississippi 38802.
