He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Phipps Sr. and Brenda Loveless Phipps; his grandparents, Jack, Nancy Phipps, Dempsey and Ruth Loveless; his cousin Philip Phipps; and his aunts, Beverly Carroll and Bridgett Newcomb.
He is survived by: his children, Weston and Karson Phipps; his brother Spencer Phipps (Amy); his nephews, Drew Phipps (Savannah), Colton Phipps (Natalie) and Caden Phipps; and his close friend Heather Brasel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
