It is with sadness that the passing of Mike Tate (Tupelo, Mississippi) is shared. Mike, born on December 18, 1942, passed away on November 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Tate and Martha Dale Tate; and his sister Ramona Tate Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Nan Collins Tate; his sons, Kevin Michael Tate (Amy) of Tupelo and David Lyle Tate (Lee) of Houston; his sister Judy Tate Hester of Nettleton; his sister-in-law Jane Collins Clock of Shannon; his grandchildren, Avery Elizabeth Tate of Starkville and William Walker Tate of Starkville; his nieces, Audrey Mitchell Morehead (Billy) of Madison and Leslie Hester Pickle of Tupelo; and his nephew Britton Allen Hester of Nettleton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
