He is survived by: his wife Mary Troy; his children, Melanie Cowlishaw (Patrick), Susan Johnson (John) and Robert Neal Hurt, Jr.; his grandchildren, Morgan Johnson (Kelly), Jake Johnson (Katy), Dr. Troy Johnson, Hayley Cowlishaw, Dr. Meredith Drake (Colin) and Robert Cowlishaw (Abby); his sister Jeanine Martin; and his sister-in-law Ebie Hurt. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
