She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lamar Heatherly and Nora Elizabeth Heatherly (Cobb); her husband Robert Perry Coon; and her brother Terry Lamar Heatherly. She is survived by: her friends, Judy and Durell Lollar; her daughter Heather Dawn Smith (Justin) of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Thomas J. Smith of Tupelo and Nicholas Flynn Greener (Taylor (Justice)) of Oxford; her great grandchild Nora James Greener of Oxford; her sister Dot Cantrell of Wren; and her sister-in-law Alice Heatherly. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
