He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Spencer Cook and Katie Delmar Oliver; his children, Elonda Cook Pinson and David Cook; his siblings, Ann Lockhart (Eddie), Jesse Jones (Karen), Willie Jones (Elouise), Cecil Jones, Buck Jones and Howard Jones; and his grandson Austin Cook (Zachary Cook).
He is survived by: the mother of his children Patricia Ann Taylor; his children, Annette Kimbrell (Ricky) and Everette Cook (Larisa); his grandchildren, Katie Kimbrell, Jack Redus, Wesley Cook, Kyle Cook and Eric Pinson; and his children, Lucas Cook, Adriana Cook, Hamey Hunt, Veronica Lockridge (Rod), Rowyn, RJ Roslyn Lockridge and Ava Sloen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702).
