He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Spencer Cook and Katie Delmar Oliver; his children, Elonda Cook Pinson and David Cook; his siblings, Ann Lockhart (Eddie), Jesse Jones (Karen), Willie Jones (Elouise), Cecil Jones, Buck Jones, Howard Jones, O. C. "Mutt" Jones (Lonnie), Johnny Jones, Ruby Jones and Orville Eugene Cook; his grandson Austin Cook; and his brother Zachary Cook.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Patricia Ann Taylor; his children, Annette Kimbrell (Ricky) and Everett Cook (Larissa); his grandchildren, Katie Kimbrell (Jack Redus), Wesley Cook, Kyle Cook, Lucas Cook, Adriana Cook and Eric Pinson; and his children, Haley Hunt, Ava Sloan, Veronica Lockridge (Rod), Rowyn, RJ and Roslyn Lockridge.
