He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Bell and Walter Fears; and his siblings, Nora Sykes, Ida Bell Fears, Otha Lee Fears, Walter Fears, Jr., Lawrence Fears, Barry Fears, Tracy Fears and Douglass Fears.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Scherrie Dixon (Patrick) and Tilman Wallace Fears (Tequilla); his stepchildren, Al Clark, Sandra Floyd and Desmond; his siblings, Lula Moore of Detroit, Albert Fears (Omega) of Blue Springs, Alfred Fears (Jessica) of Saltillo and Horace Fears (Dorothy) of Tupelo; and his grandchildren, Patrice Fears, Santez Penson, Santasia Penson, Jeremiah Fears and Janiyah Fears. He is also survived by his seven step grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
