She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gorden Bowen and Ruby Wright Bowen; her siblings, Gordon Dale Bowen, Major Bowen and Janice Bowen; her former husband Bob Bennett, Sr.; and her son-in-law Neil Cruse.
She is survived by: her children, Desha Bennett Cruse, Dr. Bob Bennett Jr. and Jody Bennett (Cari); her grandsons, Blake Bennett and Brett Bennett; and her sisters, Georgia Bowen Owen and Nina Bowen Cantrell (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
