Philip A Butler Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Philip A Butler (Tupelo, Mississippi). Philip, born on May 23, 1952, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Butler and Juanita "Nita" Williams Butler; and his brother Clark Butler. He is survived by: his wife Dian Tarpley Butler of Saltillo; his children, Mitzie Steward (Jason), Kari Robison (Brandon) and Josh Butler (Katie); his grandchildren, Alisha Robinson, Nicholas Robinson, Ainsley Jolly (Jacob), Reese Robison, Finnegan Butler and Callahan Butler; and his great grandchild Trevor Robinson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
