She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Smith Sager and Charles P. Kidd; her husband Tommy Ray Sloan; her son Brad Sloan; her brothers, Mike Helms and Scott Helms; and her brother-in-law Phil Christensen.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles Sloan (Holly) of Ethel and Jonathan Sloan of Tupelo; her sisters, Paula Helms Hagerty (Jim) of Boston, Mass. and Rosemary Cathcart of New Zealand; her sister-in-law Billie Faye Sloan Christensen of Farmington, Utah.; and her extended family, Sloan Christensen of Arizona, Shannon Christensen of Utah, Brian Hagerty of Boston, Mass., Joshua Helms of McKinney and James Helms of San Ramon, Calif..

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
