We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, at the age of 76, Richard Estes (Tupelo, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Owens; his stepdaughter Kellie McCombs Gann; his grandson Cooper Barber; and his great grandchild Eli Whitaker-Hogue. He is survived by: his wife Janet Estes; his children, Kim Price (Joe) and Jennifer Barber (Dusty); and his stepchildren, Bridgett Martin, Amy Bonds (Greg), Megan Stembridge and Cody Stembridge. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
