He is survived by: his friend Margaret Whidden of Memphis; his son Robert Franklin Ellis, Jr. (Rob) of Bartlett, TN; his wife Margaret; his brother Thomas Warren Ellis (Donna) of Jackson, TN; his brothers-in-law, Andrew Whidden (Gene), David Whidden (Debbie) and James Whidden; and his pet Olive. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
