He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Darby and Fairy Mae Ware Darby; his granddaughter Kayla Darby; and his brothers, Ray and Richard Darby.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma of Mooreville; his daughter Marie Darby of Saltillo; his former spouse Gary Moxley (Martie) of Ecru; his siblings, Terry "Dinky" Darby, Ricky Darby, Brenda Kendall, Mary Kendall and Fay Floyd; and his grandchildren, Zack Moxley, Matthew, Seth, Samentha and Stacy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
