She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Roy Filgo and Gertrude Benson Filgo; her daughter Frances Boggan Walker; and her siblings, Doris Filgo Martin and Roy "Sonny" Benson Filgo.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn Boggan Cayson (Mike) of Tupelo; her granddaughters, Emily Cayson Mize (Will) of Tupelo and Kate Walker Gurkin (Spencer) of Memphis, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Kathryn Mize of Tupelo, Walker Griffin Gurkin of Memphis and Wesley Thomas Mize of Tupelo; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Boggan of Tupelo. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
