Ruby left this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Pettigrew and Lee Earl Roberts Pettigrew; and her husband James William "Billy" Carr. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Carr Kelly; and her grandsons, William Blake Roberson and Carson Lee Roberson of Munford, TN.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bissell Baptist Church (4662 W Main St, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
