She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Lucas and Dolly Brown Lucas; and her husband Paul "David" McCarty. She is survived by: her sons, Brian McCarty (Mollie) of Tupelo, MS and Jason McCarty (Kalah) of Tupelo, MS.; her siblings, Wade Lucas of Fayette, AL. and Ernestine McCarty of Tupelo, MS.; and her grandchildren, Leslie McCarty, Braden McCarty, Karsyn Easter and Levi McCarty. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sherman Baptist Church (145 3rd Ave, Sherman, MS 38869). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
