Ruth Nipper Thiry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Nipper Thiry of Tupelo, Mississippi, born in Sikeston, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard and Anna Garner Nipper; her husband Norville Thiry; her siblings, Billy Nipper, Mary Alice Dowdy and June Inmon; and her son Richard Lynn Kell.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Kell New (Howard) of Glen Allan, MS, Diane Martin Yielding (Tim) of Ratliff, MS, Judy French of Oakdale, CA, Carol Uballe (Pete) of Riverbank, CA, Mitch Thiry (Ursula) of Piedmont, OK and Marc Thiry (Denise) of Berryville, AR. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Glen Allan Methodist Church.
