It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Frances Thompson Carr (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wilson Thompson and Sarah Frances Taylor Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Don Carr; her sons, Jason Carr of Nashville and Justin Carr (Brandy) of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Christian Carr, Skylar Carr, Kendyll Carr, Mattie Kate Carr and Sarah Carr; and her sister Mary Anne Sanders (Harvey) of Houston.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Jackson St. Baptist Church (1349 W Jackson St, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
