He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Louise King Ivy; and his grandparents, Willie Louis Ivy, Myrtle Buchanan Ivy, Earlie King Sr. and Munola Jones King.

He is survived by: his wife Lora Ivy; his children, Kiersten Agnew, Riley Ivy, Ocean Ivy, Aspen Ivy and Desmond Matthews; his father Tommie Lee Ivy of Shannon, MS; and his siblings, Cynthia Adams (Jimmy) of Tupelo, MS, Octavius Ivy (Ulaunda) of Olive Branch, MS and Marcus Souter (Keisha) of Marlboro, MD. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
