It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Abney of Tupelo, Mississippi, born in Cleveland, Mississippi, who passed away on June 26, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William Abney and Marie Miller Abney. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Abney of Tupelo; his children, Tommy Abney (Nikki) of Tupelo, Joseph Campbell (Pam) of Saltillo and Chelainea Campbell of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Noah, AnnaLauren, Laylaih, Kaimbri, Ja'leigha, Mason and Ivanna; his siblings, Donna Kyle (Steve) of Winona and David Abney (Sherry) of Atlanta, Georgia; the mother of his child Lois McKnatt (Don) of Sherman; and his pets, Tee and Latta. He is also survived by aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; many other family members.
