He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Murphy and Hazel Murphy; and his brother Andy Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Leigh Jobe Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
