He was predeceased by: his mother Debra Middleton Smith; and his grandparents, Durward Middleton, Ruby Ruth Middleton, H. Smith and Mattie Merle Sumblin Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Felts Smith; his children, Tristan Durward Smith and Mary Addison Smith; his father Madison H. "Hamp" Smith; his sister Amelia Smith (Keith Lawrence); his niece Emma Morrison; his nephew Robert Murphree; his aunts and uncles, Orrin Smith, Joey Smith and Amy Smith; and his cousin Parker Smith.
Memorials may be made to the Tupelo Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, an organization especially dear to Wade's mother, Debra, and one that Wade continued to support in her memory.
