She was predeceased by: her parents, Bro. Marion Payne and Inez Mathis Payne; and her husband Larry A. Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Allen Matthews II of Plantersville and Tosha Matthews of Plantersville; her grandsons, Larry Allen "Trey" Matthews III (Lakin) of Plantersville and Robert Matthew "Rob" Parker of Courtland, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Addilyn Haze Matthews and Larry Kash Matthews; and her siblings, David Payne (Ann) of Sherman, Kathy Lee (Terry) of Blue Springs and Donnie Payne (Charlotte) of Northport, Alabama. She is also survived by in laws and her Payne family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel-Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
