He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Lee Vail and Eva Lou Cowley Vail; and his daughter Vicki Lynn Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Louise Vail of Fulton; his children, Peggy Diane Vail and Timothy Wayne Vail (Kimberly) of Fulton; and his sister Dorothy Schlitz of Saltillo. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
