It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Morton Stafford (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood Stafford and Velma Stafford; and his brothers, Arthur Sidney Stafford and Malcolm "Gene" Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stafford of Tupelo; his children, Teresa Stafford Horton (Terry) of Tupelo, Dennis Stafford (Cindy) of Tupelo and Patrick Stafford (Wendy) of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Ashley Evans of Tupelo, Will Stafford (Rebecca) of Tupelo, Hillary Jorgensen (Travis) of Davidson, Madison Smith (Kyle) of Tupelo, Clayton Horton of Tupelo, Anna Claire Stafford (Kyle Costilow) of Nashville, Addison Rodgers (Drew) of Tupelo and Connor Gable of Tupelo; his great grandchildren, Hudson Evans, Parker Stafford and Hayes Evans; his sisters, Alene Darnell and Shirley Wade (Julian); and his caregiver Kathy Riddle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
