She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Nolan Rushing; her parents, James Chesterfield Davis and Lura Ann Beeson Davis; her granddaughter Maya Rushing; her siblings, James Manon Davis, Johnny Gerald Davis, Jay Davis, Fannie Mae Chesser, Lavon Sills, Margie White and Audelle Davis; and her daughter-in-law Mavis Rushing.
She is survived by: her children, Toney Rushing (Tanya), Jeff Rushing and Tammy Thomas (John); her grandchildren, Kristi Johnson (Ken), Tristan Rushing, Aaron Rushing, Salina Burnthorn, Brody Burnthorn (Victoria), Brooke DiGiovanni (Brian), Lane Burnthorn (Candi), Kelly Coker (Paul), Brandi Rushing, Hanna Bailey (Ross) and Matthew Rushing; her great grandchildren, Peyton Johnson, Levi Johnson, Madison Burnthorn, Jacob Burnthorn, Charlie Burnthorn, Olivia Burnthorn, Carter Sartin, Parker Coker, Bentlee Coker, Saylor Coker and Brooks Bailey; her great great grandchild Selah DiGiovanni; her sister Elaine Cude; and her nephew Keith Davis (LeAnne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Capps Funeral Home (270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS 39667). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the Tylertown II Cemetery.
