He was predeceased by : his parents, John T. Dillon and Georgia Terrell Dillon; his sister Melba Johnson; and his brother-in-law Major Johnson. He is survived by : his siblings, Jerome Dillon (Jean) and Gayle Strickland (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home (412 Beulah Ave, Tylertown, MS 39667). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
