He is survived by: his wife Loretta Ward Hebert Maxwell; his daughter LaChelle Hebert; his grandchildren, Brian, Ron and Olivia; his son Dwain Hebert (Monica); his grandsons, Gary and Quinton; his brothers-in-law, James Ward (Gail) and Herman Ward (Margaret); his daughters, June Crumes Christoff and Joan Maxwell Garrett (Tony); his grandchildren, Clester "Ricky" III and Christian Joshua Jackson; his stepgrandson Andrew Edwards; his great grandchild Abel Jackson; his grandchildren, Jonae'Francena-Mari and Tyrus Josiah-Eleazar; his son John Maxwell IV (Tonya); his grandchildren, John Maxwell V (Jerica), Jalil Nathan, Sidney James and Andrew Miles; his daughter Janel Patricia Platt (Anthony); his grandchildren, Tyrin Mai'kyl Bridgewater, Adrian Lenaj Bacon, Aeneas Anthony and Anaya Lillian; his daughters, Karen Maxwell and Kimberly Paige Maxwell; his grandchildren, Rene Mason Jr., Kymora Jenae', Elajah Lashawn Burrow, Kamryn Emanii, Marcellus Giovani and Zharia Anderson; his great grandchild Saige Sabree; his sister Marilyn Maxwell; his niece Nekola Bonseigneur-Williams; and his nephew Brandon Maxwell.
