He was predeceased by: his parents, Felder Louis and Ruth Elizabeth Brumfield Beard; and his siblings, Michael Lynn Beard, Sr. and Joan Loretta Beard. He is survived by: his wife Amy Wilks Beard; his children, Brennen Louis Beard (Kristen), Ashley Smith McCarson (Russell) and Meagan Smith Resendez (Louis); and his grandchildren, Bryce Louis Beard, Evelyn Dixie Beard of Louis, Jon Resendez and Ada James McCarson. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
