He is survived by: his wife Sherry Angela Bennette of Tylertown; his parents, Richard Bennette and Karen Bennette of Hattiesburg; his children, Skylar Bennette and Richard "Trè" Michael Bennette III; his stepchildren, Gavin Clinton and Amber Clinton; his sisters, Judy Edwards (Jon Mark) of Hattiesburg and Angela Koomen of Sumrall; his siblings' children, Lane, Mannon, Kelly, Griffin, Carter and Pete; his step-niece Hailey; and his step-nephews, Donavan and Van.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ideal Primitive Baptist Church (413 N Main St, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
