With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Jean Barnes of Tylertown, Mississippi, born in Mount Hermon, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Fleet Barnes; and her brother Gaylon Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Randell Jerry Barnes (Regina Hayes) and Lisa Annette Polk (Tonie); her brother Allen Boyd (Juretta); and her grandchildren, Clint Polk, Deanne Minarik, Amanda Jellison, Angelia Murphy, Brandon Polk, Amber Breland and Sandra Barnes. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
