It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olean McKenzie Fortenberry Easterling of Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Olin McKenzie; her former husband Percy Fortenberry; her husband Levoy Easterling; her stepson John; and her daughter-in-law Sue Fortenberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Mickie Fortenberry; her grandchildren, Tiffany Rayburn-Wall (Marshall), Drew Rayburn, Damon Fortenberry and Jennifer Fortenberry (Jim); and her great grandchildren, Lillie, Jacob Wall, Sydney and Ava Fortenberry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tylertown Church of Christ (138 Old Hwy 198 west, Tylertown, MS 39667). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Crystal Springs Cemetery - Dexter (54 McCain Road, Tylertown, MS 39667).
