He is survived by: his wife Patricia Joy Taylor Brumfield; his son Richard Kent Brumfield (Carol); his grandchildren, Amelia L. Brumfield and Thomas Kent Brumfield (Alejandra); and his siblings, Gwen Ginn, Meadette Brumfield and Carol Breland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
