He is survived by: his children, Tilton Chatman Stringer, III, Alan Stringer, Loreen Slaughter (Gregg) and Kimberly Peters; and his grandchildren, Adam Slaughter (Lauren), Courtney Box (Keith), Heather Fullen (Bubba), Alex Futch (Delia) and Matthew Stringer. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
