She is survived by: her children, Donald Luther Dye, Jr. and Rebecca Dye Salazar; her granddaughter Marisa Dye Acevedo; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Layla Gonzalez and Lillian Marie Acevedo; and her brothers, Lawrence "Larry" Russell Smith and Curtis Cannon (Betty).
