He was predeceased by: his parents, Holcomb Nicholson and Rozell Nicholson; his sister Glenda Nicholson Hegwood; and his sister-in-law Gearline Gentry Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Nicholson; his daughters, Angie Henry (Sterritt) of Union and Jennifer Hedgepeth (George) of Big Point; his grandchildren, Madelyn Hedgepeth, Bailey Buckley (Hunter), Jes Henry, Nic Henry and Case Henry; his brothers, Jerry Nicholson of Union and Clinton Nicholson (Teresa) of Duffee; and his extended family, Michele Hegwood Winstead (family: Lauren Rich, Mason, Bryson, Demi Rich, Mitchell, Emma Winstead) and Shane Hegwood (Aleshia, family: Chandler, Hannah Grace).
