He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Russell and Vessie Russell; his siblings, Grady Russell, Thurman Russell, Alene Logan and Mazel Goforth; his former wife Bobbye "Tootsie" Russell; and his daughters-in-law, Susan Russell (Danny Russell) and Burlin Russell (David Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Russell; his sons, Glenn Russell and Jeff Russell; his granddaughters, Brandi Smith (David), Courtney Russell, Kim Beard (Chris), Deanna Russell and Lynn; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Franklin, Gracie Franklin, Bella Grace Beard and Drew Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
