He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Hamil and Ruth Hamil; and his siblings, Guy, Ray, Eugene, Bobby, Dillard, Billy, Ralph, James, Kenneth and Amelia Knight.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nellie Harrison Hamil. He is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews.
