Winstead and Lorene Winstead; his great grandchild Hailey Renee Ellinburg; his brothers, Jimmy Winstead, Eric Ellinburg, Gabe Ellinburg, Harrison Thomas, Noah Madison, Judd Young and Ian Fortenberry; and his great grandchildren, Par Bateman, Will Beckett Thomas, Sims Hamilton, Sonny Hamilton, Rowen Ellinburg, Jon Morgon Ellinburg and Mykal Fortenberry.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Winstead; his daughters, Vanessa Winstead, Janet Madison (Barry) and Laura Herrington (Vince); his grandchildren, Eric Ellinburg (Sable), Kory Fortenberry, Ian Fortenberry, Natalie Fortenberry, Katy Bateman (Stevens), Mallory Hamilton (Webb), Harrison Thomas (Anne Claire), Noah Madison and Judd Young (Meghan); and his brother Bernard Winstead.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Milling Funeral Home (23477 MS-15, Union, MS 39365). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union (23477 MS-15, Union, MS 39365).
