He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Bassett Sharp and John E. Sharp, Sr.. He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Sharp (Bethany) and Justin Sharp; his grandchildren, Eliana and Isabella Sharp; and his brother Bill Sharp. He is also survived by numerous cousins and a countless number of friends.

A burial was held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sebastopol Baptist Church (43 Main St, Sebastopol, MS 39359).
