With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Mitchell Bounds (Union, Mississippi), who passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Kenneth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kenneth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Bounds and Annie Lois Bounds; and his brother-in-law Steve Jones. He is survived by: his sisters, Janice Sistrunk (Glen) of Philadelphia and Judy Jones of Brandon, MS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers family requests all Memorials be made to Linwood Baptist Church Building Fund.
