She was predeceased by : her significant other Billie Gerald Vance; her parents, Barto Heflin and Etta Heflin; her granddaughter April Rose Gomez; and her siblings, Rosell Nicholson, Geneva Horton, Mary'Tootsie'Ricks, Onree Heflin, Billy Heflin, Harstn Heflin, Cobert Heflin, Shelby Heflin, Fred Heflin and Wiggle Heflin.

She is survived by : her sister Bonnie Heflin Jones; her daughters, Vicky Tiller (Mark) of Baton Rouge, Stephanie Mattox (Jeff) of DeKalb and Tina Thomas (Don) of Union; her grandchildren, Amy Martin (Jason) of Baton Rouge, Emily Wascom (Andrew) of Baton Rouge, Tiffany Bouchillon (Kevin) of Union and Jay Thomas of Union; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah, TJ and Michael Mattox; her great grandchildren, Grace, Audrey, Brooks Martin, Eden, Anna Wascom, Miken, Rylynn Bouchillon and Kyler Thomas; and her niece Suzi Horton McDill.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Milling Funeral Home of Union (23477 MS-15, Union, MS 39365). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Union (400 Main St, Union, MS 39365).
