He was predeceased by: his parent Everette Mitchell, Sr.; his brother Lewis Everette Mitchell, Jr.; his brother-in-law Joe Sigrest; Nellie Mae Newman Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Ollie Mitchell of Utica; his children, Ricky Mitchell (Cindy) of Byram and Sherry Cooper (Gary) of Utica; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Cooper (Megan) of Brandon, Michael Cooper of Utica, Kelly Mitchell Blackwell of Bogue Chitto and Brent Mitchell of Gluckstadt; his great grandchildren, Landon Blackwell, Andrew Blackwell, Colton Blackwell, Murray Cooper, Wes Cooper and Emmaline Cooper; and his sister Pat Mitchell Sigrest.
