He was predeceased by : his parents, William Andy and Vivian Sullivan McCorkle; his wife Ruby Hazel Welch McCorkle; and his siblings, Leneva Stewart, Margie Mullen, Mozelle Nelms and Estes McCorkle.

He is survived by : his son Charles Andrew McCorkle of Greenville, TX; his brothers, Fred McCorkle of Leland and Andrew Pete McCorkle of Vaiden; and his close friend Maggie McCorkle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
