It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Waltman of Vancleave, Mississippi, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phileman "Moogie" Waltman and Sophie E. Ladnier Waltman; her sons, Steven Ely and Donald Ely; and her siblings, June Peabody, Nola St. Amant and Roland Waltman.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Ely (Laurie), Darrin Ely (Raina), Brian Ely and Dayna Ely (Jeff Clark); and her siblings, Albert Waltman, Henry Waltman, Rayford Waltman, Henrietta Carroll, Marie Bienvenue (Elton), Mary Fergonise, Carol Schrieber (Bobby), Sue Arguelles and Betty Haygood. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home - Vancleave (4901 Jim Ramsay Rd, Vancleave, MS 39565).
