He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Tanner; his parents, James Tanner and Doris Tanner; and his siblings, Nina Marie, Bobby Eugene, Joseph and Willie Tanner. He is also survived by four children, eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter (12205 Mt Pleasant Rd, Vancleave, MS 39565). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
