He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Barrett and Wallace Barrett; his grandparents, James and Florence Nye; his brothers, Randy Barrett, Sr. and Timothy Powers; and his stepmother Annie Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Barrett of Vancleave, MS; his sons, Shawn Barrett (Missy) and David Barrett Jr. (Brook Barrett Brown) of Escatawapa, MS; his grandchildren, Nicholas Fahey, Michael, Kimberly, Russell Barrett of Vancleave, MS, Justin Cooper of Biloxi, MS, Lynn and River Brown of Escatawapa, MS.; his siblings, Sam Powers (Elizabeth) of Troy, VT, James Powers of Barton, VT, Jennifer Hinton (Robert) of Sutton, VT and Jana Morse (Herbert) of Newport, VT; and his sister-in-law Missy Powers of North Smithfield, VT. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, they request that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dave's memory, continuing his legacy of kindness and support for others.
