He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Sims, Sr. and Zena Bonner Sims; and his brother Monty Sims. He is survived by: his wife Angela Sims; his daughters, Cailin Sims and Cari Whitt (Clay); and his sisters, Camille Daglio (Allan), Melinda Sims and Lori Tally (Sidney). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
