He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Martin (Pete) and Annie Elizabeth Hobdy Martin; his wife Maude Elva Sullivan Martin; and his brother John Hobdy Martin. He is survived by: his sister Mary Anne Martin Burson; his son Frank Martin (Theresa); his grandchildren, Kristyn Jones (Kevin), Brent Martin (Courtney), Tyler Martin (Ashlyn) and Haley Martin (Cole Stanton); and his great grandchildren, Emily English, Aiden English, Adelaide Martin, Madison Martin, Maddux Martin, Jaxson Roberts, Maverick Roberts, Haven Martin and Hayes Martin. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (9721 MS-63, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Serene Memorial Gardens (12800 MS-613, Moss Point, MS 39562).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Robert.
