He is survived by: his children, Joanie Alexander (John), Cindy Chesney (Michael), Deanna Tyrone (John), Roger Melton, Jr. and Amanda Shaw (Trey Davis); his grandchildren, Britne' Edwards (George), Tegen Roman, Kailee Alexander, Alyssa Kelly (Cameron), Austin Shaw (Tyler), Alex Anthony (Mason), Peyton Chesney, Shianne Ford (John Karl), Autum Galle' (Ethan Murphy), Trinity Tyrone and Emily Tyrone; and his siblings, Iris Melton, June Ratcliff, Joey Melton (Helen) and Clyde Melton (Vivian). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
